HOW TO ORDER WEDDING STATIONERY

 

Steps to placing your Wedding card order

 

1 - Request Sample

You can order a sample of any of our wedding invitations in any colour to see and feel the quality of the final product. Please allow 1 -2 weeks delivery for samples depending on busy times. We regret that we cannot send samples free of charge due to the time, cost of materials and postage. There is a charge of £5.00 per sample. The sample payment will be credited against any subsequent order. You can request a sample by choosing the invitation of your choice and clicking ‘Request Sample’.

 

2 - Placing Order

There are two ways of placing an order with us. You can either visit us prior by appointment at our

studio based in Birmingham, West Midlands, appointments can take between 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on individuals. At your visit you can browse our products in a comfortable setting with seating

provided.  There is plenty of choice for individual taste and style. Clients who arrive with their own ideas can opt for our bespoke service where our mission is to create your vision and turn it into a reality. You are welcome to place an order on the day, or wait for a sample or quote before you confirm your order.

The second option is for long distance customers who cannot travel to us due to work / family commitments and time constraints. We suggest you contact us by phone or email to let us know of your requirements. We can email designs or send out a sample. 3 - Deposit Payment

On confirmation we will ask for a non-refundable deposit payment of £50.00 for orders UNDER £200 and £100 for orders OVER £200. Receipt of the deposit will confirm your order as well as your delivery/collection date. Deposit payment can be made via our website or via e-banking. We will email bank details. Please note the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Once deposit is made we will email a template in word document for you to fill in all wedding details. Kindly email back to us once completed.

 

4 - Availability

During peak season we are always fully booked so we highly recommend that you place your order early to avoid disappointment. We usually like to ask for at least 6/8 weeks notice prior to the collection or delivery date of your order.  Due to the handmade quality of our products we only take a certain number of orders at any time as we do not rush out orders, we pride our work on care and attention to detail as each order is treated as our own. If your order is urgent please contact us with the date of wedding and quantity required. We can usually accommodate urgent orders if customers are willing to choose simple quick turnaround cards. This does not mean compromising on materials or style, we can create stunning invitations with little added detail.

 

5 - Proof Reading

We do our very best to make sure that your proofs are accurate, but we regret to say that it is the customers final responsibility to check their proofs. We are unable to start printing an order until we receive a confirmation by email from the customer confirming that they have read the proofs and are happy for us to proceed with printing. If a error is noticed after we have gone to print there will be a further charge for re-print. Please read all proofs carefully to avoid this extra cost.

 

6 – Re-order

We always tell our customers to order extra cards when ordering. Having an extra 5 or 10 wedding cards is better than being told that we cannot make more due to busy times and commitments made to other customers. Our invitations are charged by the quantity ordered. Please check our ‘Price Band Chart’ for the extra charge per card. To avoid this extra cost please consider extras at the time of ordering.

 

7- invoice and payment

You will receive an invoice 1 week before your order is ready to dispatch or collect. Payment can be made directly into our bank account (we will email bank details)

We can only accept cash from customers who are collecting their order from our studio. Please note we do not keep money in our studio, so would appreciate that customers arrive with the correct amount.

 

8 – Packing

We take every care to make sure your order is securely packed when ready to dispatch.

Large orders of invitations, stationery and favour boxes are always double counted

IT IS VERY UNLIKELY THAT WE WILL SEND OUT LESS INVITATIONS OR FAVOURS as we understand this can cause frustration and stress on the client. For this reason invites and favours are always counted during production, labelling and packing. (Clients who contact us claiming they have received less invitations will occur a charge if they require more cards. This is simply because there is no proof to show who is right, customer or supplier. The charge is usually half the price of the chosen invitation.

Customers who collect their order from our studio are welcome to count their order.

 

 

9- Postage and DISPATCH

All orders are sent by Next day special delivery and will require a signature upon receipt.

Postage cost can only be given once the parcel is weighed. We will confirm the postage cost before sending your invoice.

Recorded Delivery does not guaranty next day delivery and we will not be made responsible for any damage or loss to your order.

GENERAL
Please read these terms & conditions carefully before using this website and print a copy for future reference. These will govern any contract between you and us for the sale of the products displayed on this website. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by placing appropriate notification on this page (see date at top) and it is your responsibility to read the terms on each occasion you use this website. Your continued use of the website will be deemed as your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

Please note that it is your responsibility to check that your order is accurate and to supply all relevant information accurately which is necessary to complete the order as requested.

All items are subject to availability and we reserve the right to change prices listed without notice, E&OE.

Some cards are embellished with small parts and therefore not suitable for children under 3 years.

 

PAYMENT METHODS

Orders can be paid using all major UK credit and debit cards via our Romancart facility via our website. Payment processing is automated and there are no additional charges for credit card payments.

Other option of payment is via bank transfer, we will provide you with our bank details on request.

We can only accept cash from customers picking up orders from our studio.

ORDER PROCESS AND DELIVERY

Greeting card Order Process

Once you have completed your order please proceed to checkout, once payment is made simply contact us with any personalisation required on the card. Following this, we will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Sijara Designs. Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on despatch to you of the products ordered.
In stock items will usually be dispatched within 48 hours of payment. We will take all reasonable steps to deliver agreed back order items within 28 days, but we will not be held liable for failure to deliver within this time. If we are unable to deliver within a reasonable time you will be informed by email and offered the option to cancel the order and given a full refund.

Delivery Charges for Greeting cards

Delivery charges are FREE for all UK orders of greeting cards only (NOT wedding invitations or wedding stationery).

Overseas Orders

We do not currently accept orders from outside the UK. If you require an overseas shipment or wish to make a purchase from outside the UK please contact us for specific details. We reserve the right to refuse overseas orders at our discretion.

PRICES

All Prices are in Pounds Sterling. Discounting may be applied. E&OE

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

We offer refunds on products purchased which have NOT been personalised but only in the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods.

PRINTING AND WORDING ON CARDS / INSERTS

All details are copied word for word and it is your responsibility to check all spelling and grammar on proofs. Final proofs require an email confirmation saying – ‘I have read over the proofs and confirm that I am happy for you to proceed in printing.’

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY/COPY RIGHT

You acknowledge and agree that all the card designs, layouts and images are the copyright of Sijara Designs. All rights reserved. No card designs, images or concepts may be reproduced without express permission.  Any images found used without permission will result in legal action.
